Helen Barker was a physical therapist, working with polio victims, staff member of a clinic, hospital, a crippled children's treatment center. She was also a Bible College graduate, gifted pianist, organist and linguist. She came to Manila in early 1948 to offer her expertise in the preparation of health and other kinds of programs.
