Don Geary, a Mechanical Engineer, was formerly employed by Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company. During WWII he served as Power Plant Engineer for North American Aviation (manufacturer of the famous P-51 fighter plane). The family, Don, Betty, David and Timothy as seen in the photo, came to Manila on so-called "Second Wave" of expat missionaries in early 1948, after the Brogers, Handlos' and Richard Rowland contingent, to prepare the Manila site for broadcasting.
