Richard Rowland was among the third group of missionaries to arrive in Manila in March of 1948, to help install the transmitters for the new FEBC stations. He remained a faithful worker in FEBC for many years, serving in the Philippines to help get DZAS and other regional stations on the air. He eventually returned to the U.S. and served at KGEI in San Francisco until his retirement in the 1990's.
