A "QSL" or "DX" card provided to worldwide listeners to FEBC's shortwave broadcasts showed Mt. Mayon (Albay Province, Luzon, Philippines) in full eruption. FEBC's DWAS radio station in the foreground. The photo was taken by a professional photographer friend of FEBC whose business was in Legazpi. Mayon is the Philippines' most active volcano. It has erupted 47 times since 1616. The Mayon cone is almost perfectly symmetrical, and has been called "the world's most perfect Volcano cone." See also #253-255).
