Mrs. Chua Kian Tiang (Phoebe) was FEBC's first Chinese language broadcaster on DZAS local. She was a resident of Manila; her broadcast was intended for Amoy speakers in that City. Mrs. Chua was also a generous supporter of the new work, making a contribution to make it possible to construct a new 300 foot self-sustaining radio tower, which stood on the Manila compound until it was dismantled July 2010.
