Press pass used by FEBC personnel for news coverage of the 4th anniversary of the Philippine Republic. The U.S. granted independence to the Philippines on July 4, 1946, to coincide with U.S. Independence Day. In 1962 President Diosdado Macapagal changed the date to June 12 to honor the declaration of independence put forward by Emilio Aguinaldo in 1898. The actual size of the pass is about 50mm by 75mm, and is embossed with the seal of the president of the Philippines.
