John and Dorothy Broger at CRCM, Manila. In the background is seen missionary house #2. The stairway can be see to the living quarters upstairs, while the lower portion is being finished. The inscription on the reverse reads, " 'just arrived' (D.B), April 24, 1948, Manila." Dorothy then took most of the photos in this archive dating 1948 and 1949. The Brogers were fashionable even in the heat and humidity of the non-airconditioned environment of CRCM Manila.
