Arvid Veidmark speaks on behalf of FEBC in Covina, California. Arvid was the person responsible for preparing the Manila property for the ministry of FEBC, fully documented in this archive.

That Arvid and his fellow Chaplain ministered to Japanese prisoners in the Philippines prior to service with FEBC, is not disputed. That General Tomoyuki Yamashita was converted to Christianity before his execution in early 1946, is a fact for which we can so far find no additional documentation.

Note: The "Gretos" in the article refer to Ayta tribespeople, often referred to as "Negritos." Venue: Covina (California) Assembly of God church. Newspaper: The Covina Argus-Citizen, Friday February 29, 1952.
