Six of these young men (three on either end with diplomas) pose with their teachers (center), including Rev. Lacanilao and Max Atienza (rear), have just finished their three weeks of concentrated study in sharing their faith with others. The men are from Batia, Bocaue, a former Hukbalahap (communist freedom fighter) stronghold. Some of them had been indoctrinated in communism, but found Christ as their Savior through listening to DZAS. One day they arrived at the station with bed roll and rice asking for training in evangelism! With the assistance of teachers from FEBIAS and Bethel Bible Institute, these earnest men received their training and went back to their homes to win men for Christ! The entire barrio of Batia was turned away from communist ideology in part by the broadcasts of FEBC. 4"x5" negative.
